General Overview

The Graduate School of Information Sciences was established in 1987 to provide a multidisciplinary graduate education for the application of information technologies and sciences. In order to meet the explosive demand for highly-skilled IT professionals, to cater to the needs of creative leaders in an informational society, the School has developed a unique program that will accommodate a variety of information-related skills and knowledge needs.

The School offers diverse financial aids, a dual degree program with Towson University, USA, and leads both in theory and in practice to the highest level of leadership and vision in the information technologies. In addition, the School operates and successfully offers the Master's program for middle managers in IT and financial management.

Educational Goals/Objectives

The Graduate School of Information Sciences offers diversified educational experience at the Master's program. The Master's program currently offers graduate courses to selected individuals interested in building their careers in six major tracks: Software Engineering, Knowledge Management, Telecommunications Convergence, Media Broadcasting, Information Security, and Financial IT Engineering.

As information technology rapidly develops in an unprecedented way, there is a constant need to cope with this change. It is true for every IT sector. We aim to produce IT professionals who can properly function in their own sectors, including the IT service and IT management areas.
